Double Delight

Tonight, though touted as "having to scrape the barrel" ended up being a very good dinner. Shrimp was yummy and the salad was top notch. I liked the cottage cheese and fruit cocktail which I ate together. The mints were a very nice touch, and I especially liked the biter biscuit (though I didn't eat it) that the twins apparently slipped in. As an added bonus, I got to have dinner in the break room (since I don't have to pump in the middle of the night anymore) and everyone was very impressed with my dinner, particularly the "milk money", they thought that was very sweet. Then I had to tell them about my other dinners and other treats and they were all very jealous.

However, I didn't have spend my "milk money" tonight cuz the managers got us Togos, chips, and sodas, so I snagged an extra soda and put it in my lunch. Score!

Thanks again for another wonderful dinner.

Return of the Chicken (aka: Buffalo) wings.

Yummy dinner, still warm, though a bit messy. The salad looks wonderful, but I'm trying to figure out how to eat it - I can't find a fork on the unit. ;) The cheese, salami, and crackers were very nice as was the Peach Nectar. The rest I'll save for a mini breakfast before class in the morning.

Pizza ala BillyBob

Dinner last night was an interesting assortment of odd, but good foods. The evening started with english muffin pizzas which were quite yummy despite the fact that they were center loaded. ;) This was followed by an olive tapinade (sp?) over crackers, and might I say there were the exact number of crackers needed to finish off the olive concoction? Yum yum. The final course of this lovely meal was a Take 5 bar which is a nice little chocolate creation which has pretzels, caramel, a cookie center, chocolate, and peanuts I think. In any case I just discovered them a couple of weeks ago, and find them to be a nice treat.

My snack later in the night consisted of a "crudite platter" of celery, cherry tomatoes, carrots and blue cheese dressing. I also had cottage cheese with raspberry which I liked much better then the peach one I had a few weeks back.

Finally, I had a tuna over crackers snack pack. Personally, I think this was the only low part of the dinner/snacks. The package did not have enough mayonaise for the tuna, the spoon provided with it was not nearly strong enough to take care of it, and the mint that came with it was disgusting. We could probably save a lot of money by making our own "tuna pack".

All in all though, another wonderful dinner from my hubby.

Chicken Wings

Tonights fare consisted of BBQ chicken wings (aka: Buffalo Wings) which were mighty tasty AND still warm having been lovingly wrapped in foil before being placed in tupperware in the upper half of a double cooler type lunch bag. There was also a wonderful salad with greens, feta cheese, cherry tomatoes, sundried tomatoes, cheese, peperoni, and salami (I think I missed something, but can't think of what.) My only complaint would be that the sundried tomatoes were a little too large, they would be a little more consumable if chopped. There was also a lovely peach which was very yummy and a jug of milk.

Yet to be consumed are a "tuna pack" of some sort (I haven't inspected too closely yet), cottage cheese, apple sauce, and fresh strawberries. That will make for a great snack with my morning pump break.

Of course I am saving the Andes mints for then too. Yum yum, I can't wait - they are of course, my favorite.

Thanks to my wonderful hubby for once again making me a phenomenal meal to take to work. It makes the long nights much more bearable.
