Yummity, yum, yum

Fri: Didn't get to post because I was incredibly busy at work, and I ended up going out in the ambulance to pick up a kid in Santa Cruz. This was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Marinated mozzarella (marinated by the wonderful hubby)with tomato and salami on sliced sourdough. It doesn't get much better than that unless you pair it with an equally delicioius salad. There were a few more goodies that were thrown in, but didn't get consumed due to the busy night. What I did have was great though.

Sat: Had ravioli tonight which was good, but a little too much, and the sauce needed to be mixed with the ravioli instead of scooped on top. I only say this because by the time I got to dinner the raviolis had melded into one giant ravioli. Still good however. Another delicious salad and tonight I actually got to eat my bat cookie (yummy Halloween treat) and drink my chocolate milk. I'm not giving up my membership in the 12 and under club any time soon.

Thank you sweetie for all your hard work. I truly do appreciate it even when I can't write about it.

Mmmmmmmm, A1

Why mmmmmm, A1? Cuz that means there's steak in my dinner and it was done just right. More delicious salad - I can't tell you how much I look forward to my gourmet salads every weekend. Then my extra special treat tonight - chocolate truffles and chocolate dipped citrus pieces in a fancy smancey gold box. The presentation was beautiful, and the chocolates were a nice treat.

Can't wait for next weekend. Thanks hubby.

Simple fare sometimes the best

Tonights dinner was a lovely salad (once I found a fork), a delicious turkey and smoked gouda sandwich (what a yummy twist), milk and chocolate chip cookies. Yum, yum, yum. Especially since I had been craving chocolate chip cookies for some reason. Way to be dialed in sweetie. :D

Dark chocolate covered pretzels...yummmmm

Once again I was able to make my co-workers jealous because my husband makes me such wonderful lunches. They couldn't believe I had tortellini soup, shrimp cocktail, and other such delicious goodies. For me, I can't believe that he was able to find dark chocolate covered pretzels which I so enjoyed with my chocolate milk. Yum yum.

Late dinner or early breakfast?

Went on transport as soon as I got to work tonight, so didn't get to eat until 4:00 A.M. Was all set to reheat my dinner when what to my surprise there wasn't anything hot in there. That was great - couldn't have been a more perfect night for it. What I did have was a delicious BLT, with what looked like a great salad except for one small problem - no salad dressing. Oh well. I also had some strawberries, yummy! What a nice treat for this time of year. German lemon cookies made for a nice dessert. I like the "defective" ones better. I'm saving the lemon drops (happy childhood memories) for later.

Thanks for the meal sweetie!

Yummy snack filled weekend

Friday: Ravioli in white sauce, bread, salad, some yummy new dark chocolate cookies, milk and chocolate milk, a peach and carrots. Very yummy, but with my new later eating time (no more pumping) the warm pack doesn't keep the food warm anymore. The upside is that I can use the microwave to heat it, so all is good.

Saturday: Pork chop - made everyone in the breakroom drool and envious that my hubby makes me such great lunches. There was also talk about the heart shaped sandwiches that you made me a month or so ago as well as the occasional flower or other surprise that you put in my lunch. I could probably hire you out.

Sunday: Had to pump again since I didn't get to nurse the girls tonight which means dinner was a little earlier and still warm. Interesting steak kabobs - a little tough and too much meat for me, but overall good. I haven't eaten the salad yet, but am looking forward to it.

Though it's not dinner related, I have to say that having German Pancakes ready when I got home from work was a great treat. Yummy way to end the day (or start it for some people.)

Thank you, thank you, thank you. (Happy smile on my face.)
